Making Progress

Whew! What a great month it's been for CiK, so much to be thankful for as we are reaching SO MANY people in our AAC community near and FAR! We have gotten so many inquires and positive feedback about our mission, we can't wait to continue into 2020 giving back to you all!

We closed out our first application process for a fully funded playground communication board, and have begun to award and connect with schools. We aim for early 2020 deliveries! We also received quite a few out of state applicants as well, and are considering how we can meet those needs too. Stay tuned for another round of boards!

While I've had the pleasure of meeting with some of the schools already, one of the consistent barriers to AAC we've heard is resources and trainings for staff. So we will continue to focus on providing training scholarships in 2020 as well.

A BIG thank you to those who donated on Giving Tuesday, every dollar counts, and 100% goes back to our mission. To be able to give back to our schools and community, we will also be doing our first annual golf outing general fundraiser on Saturday June 13, 2019. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
